Event Description:

Auschwitz-Birkenau, which has come to symbolize the epitome of human evil and the destruction of European Jewry, is the content of this exhibition. This exhibition revolves around blueprints, photographs and other forms of documentation of the extermination camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau. These documents offer powerful evidence about one of the greatest crimes against humanity - the genocide of the Jewish people, together with the torture and murder of many other innocent victims. Organized by Dan Reynolds, Professor, German Department. Funded by the Center for Humanities. The Architecture of Murder traveling exhibition was developed and curated by Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority, in Israel. The exhibition loan is made possible by the American Society for Yad Vashem. For more information on traveling exhibits, see
