Event Description:When: Thursdays 6:30 - 8pm February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2 Click HERE to sign up. This course will teach and enrich basic skills of knitting and complete a mosaic hat. This class is for someone with knowledge of basic knit stitches (knit and purl) or someone who has knowledge of knitting but who would like to learn how to knit mosaic colorwork. Instruction will be over five nights and will build a number of skills that can be used in other fun knitting projects. Participants will need 16 inch circulars in US size 6 and US size 6 double-pointed needles. Participants will need any worsted or DK yarn (suggestions below). Two colors are required, either complementary or contrasting. They will need 150 yards of one color and 70 yards of the second color. Yarn Ideas: Cancellation policy: Registrants may cancel their enrollment 48 hours (2 days) before a class begins for a refund or credit. After this deadline, no refund or credit is available. GAAC/The Stew reserves the right to cancel classes due to a minimum enrollment not being met. In that event, participants will be notified and will be able to choose between a refund or credit for a future class. |
